The preservation of the sound environment is not only a field of reflection and action for companies aiming to obtain or maintain ISO 14001 certification to enhance the quality of their environmental management.

It is also, for all companies - and not only for Establishments Classified for Environmental Protection (ECEP), an imperative to comply with noise regulations of industrial, craft or commercial activities aimed at combating noise annoyance.

Protection of the sound environment

the preservation of acoustic environment
is a main activity for ITS

ITS offers powerful solutions at a reasonable costin response to all the needs in the matter of soundproofing (preventive or curative) by the means of equipment whose quality of design and of execution meets the highest requirement level in this area for an efficient fight against noise in the context of compliance with legislation or of improvement of the quality of the acoustic environment. Robust constructions and quality finishes ensure high durability.

With respect to industrial areasWith respect to transportation infrastructures

ITS offers soundproofing products and equipment for the preservation of the acoustic environment and the fight against neighborhood noise.

With regard to industrial activities, in France, such means are an integral part of a program of technical measures to reduce noise emissions, which must be envisaged (e.g. in and around noisy industrial sites) when the emergence ie the difference between the A-weighted equivalent continuous pressure levels of ambient noise (industrial site in operation) and residual noise (in the absence of noise generated by the industrial site, but measured over the period of operation of the industrial site) is greater with the admissible limits at the property line (when fixed by a prefectural decree)or/and in Regulated Emergence Zones (REZ).

If the ambient noise level in the REZ (including noise from the industrial site) is between 35 dB (A) and 45 dB (A) then the admissible emergence is 6 dB (A) during the day and 4 dB (A) at night; if the ambient noise level in the REZ (including noise from the industrial site) is greater than 45 dB (A) then the admissible emergence is 5 dB (A) during the day and 3 dB (A) during the night.

With the solutions marketed by ITS, the regulations regarding the preservation of the sound environment are always respected.

On-site measurements, design, construction (with or without installation) are part of the range of products and services marketed by ITS in terms of preservation of acoustic environment.
