Limitation of sound emergence from noisy industrial equipment

ITS participated in the limitation of the sound emergence of noisy industrial equipment in an energy production plant in South-East Asia, based on the use of a combustion turbine coupled to a steam turbine and a generator. This combined cycle gas plant - the largest in the country, with a power of more than 580 MW - will provide electricity to more than 680,000 inhabitants. The main sources of noise to be considered in such cases were:

  • the turbine itself
  • a compartment for the load
  • a plenum...

Control of the sound environment of an industrial site

ITS contributed to controlling the sound environment of an industrial site in Southern Europe. It was one of the largest natural gas-fired combined cycle power plants in Europe, with an output of over 800 MW, and comprising a combustion turbine coupled with a steam turbine and a generator. ITS participated in the soundproofing of the turbine itself by means of a ventilated enclosure (with 4 walls and a roof) similar to a large industrial building, with specific functionalities and...

Control of sound levels in a power plant

ITS contributed to the control of sound levels in a power plant in the Middle East, based on the use of a combustion turbine (with a power of around 140 MW in a simple cycle), by participating in soundproofing actions of:

  • the turbine itself
  • a gas module
  • a generator

These 3 noisy hardware were entirely enclosed using ventilated acoustic enclosures (each: with 4 walls and a roof).
