Limitation of industrial noise in a power plant

ITS participated in the limitation of industrial noise in a power plant in South Asia, based on the use of a combustion turbine (with a power of around 400 MW in simple cycle), making soundproofing necessary:

  • the turbine itself
  • a compartment for the load
  • a generator
  • a plenum for an air intake duct and for an exhaust duct
  • a lubrication compartment

The first 3 aforementioned sub-assemblies were entirely enclosed using ventilated acoustic enclosures (each one: with 4 walls and a roof)

Limiting the noise of an industrial compressor by means of a ventilated acoustic enclosure

ITS will participate in limiting the noise of an industrial compressor by means of a ventilated acoustic enclosure on a petrochemical site located near Paris (France, Ile-de-France region); it is a refinery combining high-tech processes for the production of hydrogen (O2) and the capture of carbon dioxide (CO2), for food and pharmaceutical applications, among others.

Main objectives of limiting the noise of an industrial compressor by means of a ventilated acoustic enclosure

In addition to...

Combined limitation of noise and polluting emissions from thermal generators

Thermal generators have many advantages when it comes to producing electricity in various contexts (not only in the form of gensets to constitute a constant source of power or to supplement mains failures: sometimes also for cogeneration, i.e. simultaneous electricity and heat production), both with regard to the methods of implementing a facility (e.g. prerequisites, time interval before commissioning, cost, maintenance) and with regard to what concerns operating conditions (e.g. modularity...
